Saturday 17th: Monmouthshire Botany Group’s Botany Walk  in Cwmllanwenarth wet meadows, the only site for Trollius (Globeflower) in the county

Sunday 18th: MMG Open Meadows Day.  A number of meadows will be open, including Gwent Wildlife Trust’s Springdale Farm.  More details to follow

Saturday/Sunday 24th/25thGardens in the Wild at the Whitfield Estate in South Herefordshire. Details

Sunday 25th:  Far Hill Flowers Open Day (part of British Flowers Week).  Open flower farm, garden and wildflower meadow. Find out how the farm works, what is grown and why British flowers are so wonderful. Saturday 1st:  National Meadows Day. Dean Meadows Group celebrate with wildflower walks at the Angus Buchanan Recreation Ground, Coleford, GL16 8DS . Open 10:30 am to 3:30 pm. Guided walks at 11:00 and 2:00 with specialists  to help identify flowers and insects; 1:00 to 2:00 pm expert advice on wildflower photography. Free of charge, parking available, please wear appropriate walking shoes

Botany Walks: The programme is provisional as some venues may be changed. Days start at 10am continuing until about 3-4pm.  All days are for helping to improve ID skills and recording for Atlas 2020.
